Traveling to Thailand just got a little smoother. In 2025, the country officially introduced the Thailand Digital Arrival Card, replacing the old paper immigration forms that visitors had to fill out on the plane or upon landing. For anyone planning a trip to the Land of Smiles, this update is a big step toward easier, faster, and more eco-friendly travel.

Previously, international travelers entering Thailand were handed a small blue and white paper form to complete with personal details, flight information, and address in Thailand. Starting in 2025, this has been replaced with a fully digital system.
The new Digital Arrival Card allows travelers to enter their details online before their trip, or at digital kiosks in the airport, making immigration checks more streamlined.
The form asks for the same details as before:
All international arrivals, including tourists, business travelers, and returning residents, are required to complete the Digital Arrival Card. Some exemptions may apply to ASEAN travelers crossing land borders, but for most international visitors, it’s mandatory.
Thailand’s move to a Digital Arrival Card is part of a broader effort to modernize travel in the country. For visitors, it means less paperwork, quicker entry, and a smoother start to your Thai adventure.
